Report: Jon Jones to be released with driving, anger counseling conditions

A judge ordered Jon Jones to attend anger management and driving improvement courses as a condition of reinstating his parole Thursday. Jones must also serve 60 hours of community service, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Jones was arrested Tuesday for a probation violation after being cited for multiple traffic offenses, including drag racing. He is expected to be released from custody Thursday, a court official told Okamoto.

The district attorney recommended Jones have a curfew imposed as part of his probation reinstatement terms, but the judge opted not to do so. He did, however, make it clear that Jones is not permitted to drive anywhere without the permission of his parole officer.

Jones is set to fight light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 on April 23.
