Laquon Treadwell finally had the opportunity to run the 40-yard dash at his pro day Monday, and the result likely matched the expectations of scouts around the league.

The Ole Miss wideout, who's arguably the top player at the position this year, posted unofficial times of 4.65 seconds and 4.63 seconds, the school announced.

Though that time is underwhelming relative to many receivers making the jump to the NFL, straight-line speed has never been a factor in Treadwell's emergence as a highly touted prospect.

With a solid frame, precise route-running, and strength at the catch point, the 20-year-old almost certainly has the skill set to succeed at the next level.

Treadwell rebounded from a gruesome leg injury he suffered toward the end of his sophomore season to rack up an impressive 82 receptions for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2015.
