Bengals replenish receiving corps by selecting Tyler Boyd

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Cincinnati Bengals selected wide receiver Tyler Boyd out of Pittsburgh at No. 55 overall in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft on Friday.

Boyd will likely compete for the Bengals' third wide receiver spot against Brandon Tate and James Wright.

The 6-foot-1 receiver can line up all over the field, although he'll likely line up in the slot on the majority of snaps.

Boyd possesses a great catch radius and seldom drops passes, and could make an impact immediately.
