The Los Angeles Rams finished the 2015 season with Case Keenum as their starting quarterback, and will open 2016 just the same.

"Case is going to come in and he's going to be our starting quarterback opening day when we do OTAs," Rams general manager Les Snead said Monday during an appearance on the NFL Network. "He earned it."

Head coach Jeff Fisher made a similar statement to ESPN last month, saying Keenum would return as the Rams' starter and that Nick Foles would have an opportunity to compete for the job.

Foles struggled mightily in his first season with the Rams, completing a career-low 56.4 percent of his passes for 2,052 yards with seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

The Rams have been rumored as a potential landing spot for free-agent quarterback Robert Griffin III, but it looks as though they're content with the status quo.
