3-on-3: The Biggest NBA Fantasy Questions of the Week

Here are three burning questions affecting NBA fantasy players this week:

Who among the Zombie Pelicans is most worth taking a flier on in Anthony Davis' absence?

Jason Wilson: It's not pretty, but SF Dante Cunningham could be in line for a big boost. He played a season-high 40 minutes on Sunday and might be the go-to power forward, especially if PF Ryan Anderson's groin injury sidelines him much longer.

Josh Ghatak: Aside from common names like Jrue Holiday and Ryan Anderson, Toney Douglas has emerged as a legitimate option for DFS tournament play. Douglas is averaging a functional 13 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds over his last seven games. He has also played over 30 minutes five of those seven.

Josh Wegman: Jrue Holiday makes for a great DFS play. His usage rate will surely sky-rocket without Davis. In the month of March he's averaging 20.9 points, 6.7 assists and 1.4 steals. His FG% might drop, but that doesn't matter in DFS.

Which healthy first-round pick would you most be concerned about owning at this point?

Jason Wilson: LeBron James. He's still putting together solid games, but he's resting on occasion and a line like 26 points, three rebounds and three assists just isn't enough for where fantasy owners drafted him. Looking at the rest of the top options, he inspires the least confidence at the moment.

Josh Ghatak: Lebron may be averaging 24.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.9 assists through the month of March, but those averages sink to 23.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists over his last five. Furthermore, Lebron has played in 66 of 69 games this season and it seems wear-and-tear along with team issues are starting to weight the King down.

Josh Wegman: DeMarcus Cousins has a history of suspensions, including a one-game termination by his own team this year. He's one technical foul away from a league suspension, and he recently shoved a Knicks security guard. Man games are crucial in fantasy playoffs, and Boogie is covered in red flags.

After Steph Curry, who would you rather have as your fantasy PG?

Jason Wilson: Chris Paul. He's been producing at an insane level without PF Blake Griffin. Even with the Clippers in a bit of a free fall, he's been putting up close to 10 assists per game and close to 20 points. He'll often go higher in both categories. He has one of the highest floors and doesn't turn the ball over as often as some of his peers.

Josh Ghatak: Russell Westbrook has been an absolute beast this year. He ranks second in the league in double-doubles with 47 and first in triple-doubles at 11 thanks to career highs in assists (7.7) and assists (10.4). Westbrook also tops the league in usage rating at 33.3%. Giannis Antetokounmpo may be 'The Greek Freak', but Westbrook should just be 'The Freak' considering the numbers he has posted this year.

Josh Wegman: Westbrook is indeed a freak. He may be the fastest baseline-to-baseline player in the entire league. He's a threat for a triple-double each and every night he takes the floor. Paul might be more of your traditional PG, but Westbrook's upside puts him in the conversation with Curry.
