Rob Foldy / USA TODAY Sports

Georgia defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter was arrested overnight Sunday on misdemeanor charges of underage possession/furnishing alcohol and possession/making a false ID.

The 18-year-old was booked into Clarke County Jail at 3:11 a.m., and was released on bond at 4:13 a.m.

Ledbetter accumulated four tackles in seven games last season, but looked poised to take on a larger role on the defense this year. The former four-star recruit will be a sophomore in 2016.
