Damon Harrison isn't moving very far in free agency.
The New York Jets nose tackle has reached a deal to join the New York Giants after the market officially opens Wednesday, according to Kimberly Jones of NFL Network.
Harrison was set to be one of the most highly sought-after players available this offseason, and he's certainly now being paid as such.
The 27-year-old is receiving a five-year deal worth $46.25 million, including $24 million in guarantees, reports Rand Getlin of NFL Network.
Harrison, a former undrafted free agent, has started every game since first stepping into a full-time role in 2013.
His dominance in the ground game will immediately bolster a Giants defense that ranked 24th against the run in 2015.
