A trade sending Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Byron Maxwell and linebacker Kiko Alonso to the Miami Dolphins for draft-pick compensation is reportedly back on.
Maxwell's agent, Alvin Keels, tweeted Wednesday that his client has cleared a physical with the Dolphins' medical staff and "is ready to roll." NFL Network's Albert Breer also confirms the teams have closed the deal.
It was reported early Wednesday that the trade was being held up by Miami's concerns over the shoulder injury that caused Maxwell to miss the final two games of last season.
