Former Chicago Fire defender rips into his old team over disastrous defending

Former Chicago Fire defender Bakary Soumare has some choice words for the club's owner Andrew Hauptman as the Fire continued their woeful form in the first game of the 2016 season.

Soumare's frustrations are a result of the team's disastrous defending against New York City FC, as the visiting side put four goals past Fire goalkeeper Matt Lampson. Despite the fact Chicago pulled back three times to bring the score to 4-3, the manner in which the Fire defenders conceded goals is particularly concerning.

Check out New York City's second goal, which came after the ball bounced like a ping pong between two Fire defenders' heads:

Yikes.
