Swansea manager Guidolin to miss Arsenal match with chest infection

Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin will miss Wednesday's clash at Arsenal after checking into a London hospital with a chest infection, the Welsh club announced.

After struggling with the health problem for more than a week, the 60-year-old Italian was referred to a specialist for further treatment Wednesday afternoon.

He will remain in hospital for a few days, but the club has assured that he is in a "comfortable position."

Assistant Alan Curtis, who served in an interim role after the firing of Garry Monk, will take charge of the visiting side at Emirates Stadium.

Guidolin took the Swansea job in January. He has mustered a 1-2-2 record so far in the Premier League.
