Rookies Story, White earn Player of the Week honors

The historic first week in Trevor Story's major-league career ended with an exclamation mark.
The Colorado Rockies shortstop was named the National League Player of the Week after becoming the first player in MLB history to homer seven times in his team's first six games.
Story's monumental start to his rookie campaign also included 12 RBIs and a .333/.357/1.111 slash line.
Houston Astros first baseman Tyler White was named American League Player of the Week after an incredible start to his own rookie campaign.
White, 25, set a franchise record for the most hits by a player in his first four games, while posting a .556/.591/1.167 slash line with three home runs and nine RBIs.
The pair became the first rookies to win Player of the Week awards for opening week of the same season.
