Report: Stars interested in Canucks' Hamhuis
The Dallas Stars are reportedly looking to fix their biggest weakness.
The team is interested in Vancouver Canucks defenseman Dan Hamhuis, according to Sportsnet's Dan Murphy.
Hamhuis has a no-trade clause, but, according to Murphy, the Stars are a club he'd be interested in joining.
Hamhuis confirms that Dallas and the #stars have many attractive qualities and he would consider a move there. #Canucks

"I think Dallas has a lot of great things going for it," Hamhuis said, according to The Province. "It's one of the best teams in the league. It'd be a great city to play in and have a chance to win this year.
"I also know quite a few players on that team."
An upgrade at defense would be imperative if the Stars want to make a deep playoff run. They've allowed the eighth-most goals in the league this season, giving up an average of 2.84 per game.
