After leaving Cincinnati for the division rival Cleveland Browns in January, Hue Jackson is apparently hoping some of his former players follow suit.

Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther joked about Jackson poaching his free agents.

"Hue wants them all up in Cleveland," Guenther said at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday, via Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.

Jackson spent the last four seasons with the Bengals, first as an assistant defensive backs coach and then as offensive coordinator, so he's familiar with the team's pending free agents. The list includes safeties Reggie Nelson and George Iloka, cornerback Adam Jones, linebacker Emmanuel Lamur, and wide receivers Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu.

Jackson said Wednesday he's trying to replicate a lot of what his previous boss, Marvin Lewis, did in Cincinnati and turn the Browns into a consistent winner.

"There are some similarities there in taking over an organization that wasn't doing well, and he's put his stamp on it," Jackson said, according to ESPN's Coley Harvey. "I'm just trying to have that kind of effect, even faster."
