The 2016 Major League Soccer season is still 11 days away, but Toronto FC is already opening up its first aid kit.
On Wednesday, TFC announced that Jozy Altidore is questionable for Week 1 of the MLS season, as the American forward suffered a hamstring injury in the final moments of a training session. The Reds are scheduled to kick off their season at the New York Red Bulls on March 6.

According to Kurt Larson of the Toronto Sun, Altidore could also miss Week 2 of the MLS season, when TFC will cross the Hudson River for a fixture at New York City FC.
Altidore could return in time for New York City FC (Week 2), but they're taking time with this. Could be three-week injury.

Greg Vanney, TFC's manager, detailed Altidore's injury earlier Wednesday, saying, according to Larson: "He pulled up. He was feeling tight. We were about to shut down the session anyways. All things considered, it was time to shut him down. He was feeling a bit tight in general when he came off."
