The Green Bay Packers announced Friday the re-signing of defensive tackle Letroy Guion.
The extension is for three years and $11.25 million, according to Adam Caplan of ESPN.
After sitting out the first three games of the 2015 campaign due to suspension, Guion returned to take on a key role in the defensive line rotation.
His continued production as a interior run defender evidently made it a priority for the Packers to negotiate a multi-year deal before he hit free-agency next month.
The 28-year-old played his first six NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings before joining Green Bay ahead of the 2014 season.
