Sadly, March Madness is winding down, and while you may be reflecting on the buzzer-beaters, upsets, and non-stop thrilling action from the past three weeks, it's important to remember another important aspect of the tournament: the best hairstyles.

Maybe you hadn't thought about it very much, but this year's tournament featured plenty of impressive hairdos. The following, in no particular order, are the best of the bunch.

Taurean Prince - Baylor

Not only was Prince one of the more dominant players for Baylor this season, the senior also sported some of the best hair in college basketball. The dreads are definitely in style when he's on the court.

Melo Trimble - Maryland

Melo Trimble's game evolved into one of the best in the country, and the Maryland star saw his hair flourish into something of a unique look. The frost-tips had him drawing comparisons to none other than Odell Beckham Jr.

Zach Auguste - Notre Dame

Like Trimble's, Auguste's hair is of the frost-tip variety, but he's incorporated a fade to ease the flow.

London Perrantes - Virginia

This look, we've seen this hair before. Royalty perhaps? A prince of some sort?

Jake Layman - Maryland

Jake Layman doesn't have weird hair. Instead, he's got the most perfect in-game hairstyle in all of college hoops. Despite working during games, he still manages to have the best do, regardless of the circumstances.

DeAndre' Bembry - St. Joe's

DeAndre' Bembry's afro is about as likable as his style of play. The glorious hairdo is the perfect piece to accompany his elite scoring prowess.

Anthony Gill - Virginia

This is taking a high-top to the next level. Virginia's Anthony Gill is tough enough to defend, but try stopping him without getting distracted by those locks.

Dwayne Benjamin - Oregon

Dwayne Benjamin's hair and beard combo is like none other in the tournament, providing a grizzly intimidation factor that he pulls off better than most could.

Brandon Ingram - Duke

Soon Brandon Ingram's glorious locks will be on an NBA court, but the freshman sensation's hair is the same as his skills - rather impressive.

Quadri Moore - Cincinnati

Cincinnati's Quadri Moore may have been bummed about the Bearcats' first round exit, but his head-turning hairstyle should be enough to make him smile.
