Ryan McDonagh's concussion could reportedly prevent the New York Rangers from trading his teammate.
"As long as Ryan McDonagh is out, Keith Yandle is not going to be on the market," TSN's Darren Dreger reported during his NBCSN first intermission segment Wednesday. "There's no way the Rangers can move a piece like that (with McDonagh out)."
Yandle is a pending unrestricted free agent with a cap hit of $2,625,000. The 29-year-old is having another productive season, entering Wednesday's game with 28 points in 53 contests.
McDonagh is out indefinitely with a concussion suffered after being punched by Philadelphia Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds on Saturday.
