Aqib Talib nearly cost his team with an inexcusable penalty late in the first quarter.

Just when the Denver Broncos appeared to have forced another punt, Talib went after Corey Brown. It resulted in a 15-yard penalty and an automatic first down for the Carolina Panthers.

Denver's defense would hold on to force another punt, however, effectively bailing out the veteran cornerback.
