VIDEO: Lady Gaga slays national anthem; controversy over length ensues
Lady Gaga wore all red, including a thick application of eye shadow, for a rousing rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl.

The full performance lasted two minutes and 23 seconds, putting it solidly over Vegas' over/under line of 2:20.
However, bettors who took the over may not get to cash in. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, timing is stopped the first time the performer sings the word "brave," meaning Lady Gaga's extended ending sequence didn't count.
It appears different sportsbooks plan to pay out differently depending on their own rules:
Here we go: Bovada is paying UNDER on National Anthem, and BetOnline is paying OVER. Discrepancy on validity of Gaga's extra "brave" at end.
