The Carolina Hurricanes stormed out to an early and big lead Friday in Winnipeg, scoring thrice in the span of 4:33 against the Jets.

The goals came off the sticks of Phillip Di Giuseppe, Andrej Nestrasil, and Jordan Staal, with the third ending Connor Hellebuyck's night.
Justin Faulk scored less than six minutes later to make it 4-0 at the 10:04 mark of the opening frame.
