German automaker Audi is reaching for the stars and tugging on heartstrings in its new Super Bowl commercial.

The ad features a disenchanted former astronaut who is longing for his golden years - this until his son shows up and hands him the keys to the new Audi R8 V10 plus, while David Bowie's "Starman" plays in the background.
