Werder Bremen and United States international forward Aron Johannsson has returned to full training after completing his rehabilitation from hip surgery.
The 25-year-old began life at Die Werderaner in decent form following his move from AZ Alkmaar last summer, netting two in five starts, but was diagnosed with the injury in October, hampering the beginning of his career in Germany.
"I will look to increase the intensity in the coming weeks, in order to get back in form. I'm finally back on track," he told the club website.
Johannsson's return to fitness comes as a boost to Werder Bremen, who currently sits precariously in 16th place, and a national team that relies heavily on the shooting boots of Toronto FC's Jozy Altidore.
