Report: Flames' Hudler drawing interest on trade market
The Calgary Flames have to decide whether they're buyers or sellers.
With several players set to become unrestricted free agents at season's end, and with his club sitting eight points out of a playoff spot, general manager Brad Treliving may attempt to swap some out in favor of future assets.
One player reportedly drawing interest is Jiri Hudler, with the Flames receiving calls to gauge the cost of acquiring the winger, according to Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.
The 32-year-old has struggled in 2015-16, with only six goals and 18 assists through 41 games. Hudler did, however, record 31 goals and 45 assists last season, albeit on an inflated shooting percentage of 19.6 percent.
Hudler also won a Stanley Cup with Detroit back in 2008, and could bring veteran experience to a contender down the stretch.
