In the days leading up to Super Bowl 50, the staff at theScore will examine the betting board in search of nuggets that will be of note to bettors.

Super Bowl 50 Prop Betting Guide

Total rushing attempts by Peyton Manning

Over 1.5 +190
Under 1.5 -220

Manning took three rushing attempts for 11 yards in the AFC title game (and looked shockingly spry doing it, at least for a 39-year-old with a torn plantar fascia). He carried the ball twice in the divisional round. It's not hard to imagine Manning scrambling once and the Broncos dialing up a surprise QB sneak (naked bootleg at the goal line, maybe?) and Manning hitting the over. - David P. Woods

Pick: Over 1.5 +190

Longest rush by C.J. Anderson, Ronnie Hillman

Anderson:
Over 18.5 yards -110
Under 18.5 yards -110

Hillman:
Over 12.5 yards +110
Under 12.5 yards -130

One of these running backs is going to pop a long run during Sunday's action. If you're interested in a slight gamble, Hillman breaking off a run of 12.5 yards or more offers great value. Anderson is slightly safer, but since he's routinely gone for runs of 20-plus yards of late and will likely get more touches, he offers less value. Take Hillman over or hedge with both. - Joe Thomson

Pick: Hillman over 12.5 yards +110

Total receptions by Greg Olsen

Over 5.0 -145
Under 5.0 +125

The Broncos' defense doesn't have many weaknesses, but teams have had success against them by feeding their tight ends. Denver allowed 15 catches to Rob Gronkowski in the AFC Championship Game. Olsen has been a consistent weapon for the Panthers all season, especially in the playoff where he's hauled in 14 receptions over the last two games. - Justin Boone

Pick: Over 5.0 -145

Longest completion by Cam Newton

Over 37.5 -110
Under 37.5 -110

Cam Newton may not have the most talented group of players to target in the passing game, but that hasn't stopped him from taking shots downfield throughout this season. Look for the quarterback to continue that strategy as a means of taking the top off Denver's top-ranked defense, connecting on at least one play of 38-plus yards. - Dan Wilkins

Pick: Over 37.5 -110

Total receptions by Corey Brown

Over 3.5 +135
Under 3.5 -155

Brown is a secondary receiver in an offense that tries to keep the ball on the ground. He caught four passes a week ago, but that was the first time all season he eclipsed three receptions, and just the second time in 31 career NFL games he accomplished the feat. In the AFC title game, Denver regularly dropped seven men into coverage to make things difficult for New England's pass-catchers, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the Broncos employ the same strategy come Sunday. - Gino Bottero

Pick: Under 3.5 -155
