4-star DT Stephon Taylor chooses South Carolina

Stephon Taylor is heading to South Carolina.

The four-star defensive tackle had his choice of suitors, receiving offers from Florida State, Oklahoma, and Alabama, among others, but ultimately wanted to be a Gamecock.

Taylor is the 23rd-rated player at his position on the ESPN 300 in a strong class of defensive tackles. With his size and athleticism, the Louisiana native has the potential to make an impact for coach Will Muschamp immediately.
