4-star TE Jacob Mathis heading to Ole Miss

Ole Miss has added to its tight end depth chart by landing a commitment from Jacob Mathis.
The four-star recruit is ranked 256th on the ESPN 300 and was also coveted by such schools as Michigan, Florida, and Ohio State.
Mathis uses his big frame well to shield the ball from defenders and make plays in traffic. He also has the athleticism to line up out wide and create mismatches against opposing defenses.
