Chicago Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler will not play in Wednesday night's matchup against the Sacramento Kings, the team announced.
Butler suffered a knee injury during Monday night's contest versus the Utah Jazz.
The 26-year-old has been terrific for the Bulls this season, leading the team in points per game (22.4), minutes per game (38.3), and steals per game (1.68).
Kirk Hinrich and E'Twaun Moore are both candidates to replace Butler in the starting lineup.
The Bulls (26-21) will try and snapping their current two-game losing skid at Sleep Train Arena tonight.
