Ducks' Clayton Stoner pleads guilty to charge of illegally hunting bear
Anaheim Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges stemming from his part in the illegal hunting and capture of a well-known grizzly bear, CBC News reports.
Stoner, a Vancouver Island native, was not in court. His lawyer made the plea on his behalf in British Columbia provincial court in Abbotsford.

The 30-year-old is also charged with two counts of making false statements to obtain a hunting license, hunting out of season, and unlawful possession of dead wildlife stemming from the incident in May 2013.
