The Philadelphia Eagles and Brent Celek have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $13 million, sources told Adam Caplan of ESPN.
The deal will reportedly include $6 million in guarantees.
The Eagles have now locked up both of their tight ends after signing Zach Ertz to a five-year, $42.5-million deal on Monday.
Celek has become more of a blocking tight end since Ertz was selected in the second round of the 2013 draft. The veteran has remained relatively productive, though, catching 27 passes for 398 yards and three touchdowns.
Newly minted head coach Doug Pederson will have two tight ends to unleash, like he did as offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs.
