FC Dallas acquires Maynor Figueroa from Colorado Rapids
FC Dallas announced Tuesday they've acquired Honduran defender Maynor Figueroa from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for general allocation money.
Figueroa, 32, joins Dallas after playing one season with the Rapids, making 10 appearances and scoring a goal last season.
"Maynor Figueroa is an experienced player that will help solidify our defensive unit," Dallas technical director Fernando Clavijo said in a statement. "We are excited to have him in Dallas."

Figueroa is a Honduran international who represented his country in the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups. Prior to joining MLS, he was a Premier League regular, playing first for Wigan, then Hull City.
He joins an FC Dallas team that features plenty of Latin talent, and will bring a veteran presence to a relatively young team.
