5-star OT Greg Little provides the anchor for Ole Miss' offense

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

Losing a two-time All-American offensive tackle would cripple most programs for the foreseeable future, but Hugh Freeze's Ole Miss isn't most programs.

With stud lineman Laremy Tunsil leaving school for the 2016 NFL Draft, the Rebels identified that position of need and immediately filled it with the No. 2 prospect in ESPN's top 300. At 6-foot-5 and 318 pounds, Little is anything but, and committed to Ole Miss after originally pledging to Texas A&M.

The Texas native also starred for his high school basketball team, which is clear based on the foot speed and lateral range he possesses for his size. Little is lauded for his advanced technique at a young age, and should anchor the Ole Miss line for at least the next three years.

His commitment represents another massive win in the recruiting circuit for Freeze, who has gained a reputation as one of the nation's best since his arrival in Oxford, Miss., in 2011.

With defensive tackle Benito Jones (No. 7 prospect) and quarterback Shea Patterson (No. 15 prospect) also committed to Ole Miss, the 2016 recruits could end up rivaling Tunsil's 2013 class featuring Robert Nkemdiche (No. 1 prospect) and Laquon Treadwell (No. 19 prospect) as tops in school history.
