4-star DE Brian Burns heading to Florida State
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
Brian Burns is staying close to home for his college career as the four-star defensive end announced his commitment to Florida State on Wednesday.
The Fort Lauderdale native is the 21st-ranked defensive end in the country, and is listed as the 160th prospect in ESPN's Top 300.
The 6-foot-5, 213-pound Burns will have to add significant size to dominate at the college level, but his pass-rushing ability should be an immediate help to the Seminoles' defense for 2016 and beyond.
