Trout appears on Weather Channel to report on 'crazy' storm
Though a massive storm in the northeastern United States ruined weekend plans for plenty of Americans, the relentless snowfall also enabled the most famous resident of Millville, N.J. to realize an unfulfilled dream.
Mike Trout - the four-time All-Star whose fondness for tracking the weather became well known this summer - appeared Saturday on the Weather Channel to report on the storm he had been "up all night" monitoring.
On Friday night, Trout posted a video on Twitter from inside his car to give his followers a sense of the road conditions, as well.

In August, Trout told Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports that he would "love to try" delivering weather reports, and noted that he had actually planned to appear on the Weather Channel "when there's a big storm in Jersey."
