Matt Frattin may be property of the Ottawa Senators, but he's still in the colors of their provincial rival.
Frattin will apparently remain with the juggernaut Toronto Marlies on loan despite being part of the package used to ship Dion Phaneuf to Ottawa.
Though it's likely a decision made to make the numbers work, it will certainly be of benefit to the Marlies, who have legitimate Calder Cup aspirations.
Frattin has nine goals and 22 points in 47 games this year.
Tobias Lindberg - the second-round prospect included in Toronto's return - joined Frattin at practice Wednesday.
