4-star LB Jeffrey McCulloch commits to Texas

Texas' defense got a substantial boost Wednesday as the Longhorns' added four-star linebacker Jeffrey McCulloch to its 2016 recruiting class.
The Texas native is the second-ranked outside linebacker in the nation and is listed as the 26th overall prospect in the ESPN 300.
McCulloch shot up the prospect board in the final version of the rankings, climbing all the way from the high 70s. The Davis High School product chose Texas from his final five that also included Stanford, Notre Dame, Florida, and Texas A&M.
