PHOTO: Ben Davis honors Bear Bryant while committing to Alabama

Alabama bolstered its linebacking corps Wednesday, landing four-star linebacker Ben Davis.

Davis, listed as an outside linebacker, has the athleticism to pressure the quarterback and drop back in pass coverage effectively. The 6-foot-4, 237-pounder is the 52nd-ranked recruit and fifth-ranked linebacker on ESPN's 300 list.

The Alabama native had offers from all over the country, but ultimately chose the Crimson Tide over LSU, Notre Dame, and Auburn, where he had official visits.
