Former Utah QB Conner Manning transfers to Georgia State

Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports

The nation's ninth-ranked passing attacked added another piece Friday as former Utah quarterback Conner Manning announced he's transferred to Georgia State.

Manning graduated from Utah in just two-and-a-half years and is eligible to play for the Panthers immediately as a graduate transfer. The California native appeared in just two career games with the Utes and spent the majority of this season fourth on the depth chart.

The Panthers have an opening at quarterback following the graduation of senior standout Nick Arbuckle, who threw for 4,368 yards in his final collegiate season.
