The Oakland Raiders officially withdrew their request to relocate to Los Angeles, according to NFL Network's Judy Battista.

While the owners are expected to release the results of the vote shortly, it's widely anticipated the St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers will relocate to Inglewood, Calif.

Earlier Tuesday, the six-owner relocation committee recommended a joint initiative between the Raiders and Chargers that would see the clubs share a $1.7-billion stadium in Carson, Calif. However, the proposal didn't receive the 24 of 32 votes required to relocate.

The Rams' proposal to move to L.A. by itself was uniformly rejected, and the club reached an agreement to work in tandem with the Chargers during a second meeting later in the day.

It's unclear where each team will play, with the proposed stadium in Inglewood still a few years away from completion.
