PHOTO: Nike releases commemorative boots for Carli Lloyd's Player of the Year award

American midfielder Carli Lloyd, already with a FIFA Women's Player of the Year award in tow, now has a custom pair of boots to go along with it.

Shortly after it was announced on Monday at the FIFA Ballon d'Or gala that Lloyd, the star of the United States' World Cup triumph last summer, was bestowed with the individual honour, Nike unveiled a sweet new pair of kicks to commemorate the achievement.

Dubbed the "Leave Your Legacy" boots, the swanky kicks will be worn by Lloyd when the U.S. takes on Ireland in a friendly match on Jan. 23.
