Remember when the New York Knicks selected Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis with their fourth-overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft last summer, and the brutal reaction he received from those in attendance?

One young Knicks fan will never forget that moment, as he immediately got the internet meme treatment after being shown crying in the stands at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

A lot has changed in the Big Apple since that night. Porzingis has taken the city by storm in his first 39 games with the franchise, averaging 13.6 points, eight rebounds, and two rejections for the 19-20 Knicks, while silencing haters and turning doubters into believers in the process.

His strong play has certainly been enough for the boy, dubbed the "Crying Knicks Fan," to change his tune on the 7-foot-3 rookie.

Prior to the Knicks hosting the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, Porzingis and the boy posed for a selfie together.

Doesn't this just warm the barrels of your heart? All is well in the universe.
