Minnesota Vikings placekicker Blair Walsh broke down crying discussing his missed kick with 22 seconds on the clock in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, a kick that likely would have sent the Vikings through to the divisional round.

"I didn't come through for us, and that hurts," Walsh told reporters, taking complete blame for the loss.

Walsh's teammates took turns consoling him.

"We're not going to abandon him," safety Harrison Smith said.

Vikings punter/holder Jeff Locke also took some of the blame, acknowledging that the ball was held with the laces pointing in rather than the preferred direction of out.
