Roma manager Rudi Garcia unconcerned about job security

Roma boss Rudi Garcia is looking past all the rumours about his job and hoping to turn around the fortunes of his struggling side.

The Giallorossi conceded a second-half goal Saturday to draw AC Milan 1-1, and the supporters at Stadio Olimpico whistled and booed the home team off the pitch after the final whistle.

They've won just a single contest in their past 10 in all competitions, although Garcia isn't bothered by the pressure on him.

"Other names being touted for my job is the least of my concerns," the Frenchman told reporters following the tie. "All that I worry about is improving my team. We have to help ourselves. We won't start improving until we show more spirit."

Despite the poor run, Roma, in fifth place on 34 points, is still within view of a Champions League spot. But Garcia wants to reverse the downward trend and prevent a further collapse.

"We are only at the halfway stage of the season," said the former Lille manager. "I am not pleased with our performance. We need to be more consistent over 90 minutes, (or) else you can't win games."
