Morgan Amalfitano seals Lille move
French midfielder Morgan Amalfitano has completed a move to Lille on a deal that runs until June 2018 after the Cannes product's contract at West Ham was nullified by mutual consent in October.
Amalfitano, 30, will now join Frederic Antonetti's Les Dogues for the second half of the Ligue 1 season, the club announced Thursday.

The former Lorient player joined the Irons at the start of the 2014-15 campaign from Marseille following a loan spell at West Brom, making 24 appearances for the London side with three goals and an assist.
Amalfitano has not featured in a Premier League match this season after breaching club conduct, prompting manager Slaven Bilic to relegate the midfielder to training with the under-21 side.
"Time will tell if I made the right choice, but I do not have too many doubts about it. After a few months off, my legs are itching to return (to) the pitch," Amalfitano told Lille's website.
Following a dismal start to the campaign, Lille has bounced back with a decent run of form before the festive interval and currently sits 11th on 24 points, seven adrift of third-place Angers and a coveted Champions League berth.
