Kings' Cauley-Stein, Casspi out vs. Mavericks; McLemore will play
After returning to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday following a 12-game absence due to a dislocated finger, rookie Willie Cauley-Stein is back on the sidelines once again with yet another problematic extremity.
The Kings will also be without small forward Omri Casspi - whose 47.7 percent three-point shooting currently ranks third in the NBA - due to a back injury.
Cauley-Stein suffered a lacerated middle finger on his right hand during a 116-104 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday. The injury - which required three stitches - will keep him out of action on Tuesday, when the team visits the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The sixth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft was optimistic following the win over OKC that he could play against Dallas, although that's clearly not the case anymore.
In 22 games this season, the former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging 4.9 points, five rebounds, and one rejection in 18.1 minutes.
