Wild Card Target Tracker
Here's a team-by-team look at the most targeted players in the AFC & NFC through Week 17 (non-playoff teams excluded):
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| A.J. Green | 5 | 132 | 8.25 |
| Marvin Jones | 5 | 103 | 6.43 |
| Tyler Eifert | 4 | 74 | 6.16 |
| Giovani Bernard | 3 | 66 | 4.12 |
| Mohamed Sanu | 2 | 49 | 3.06 |
A.J. McCarron may make his first playoff start this weekend against a soft Pittsburgh defense. The Steelers allowed 272 yards through the air per game and 19 passing touchdowns in the regular season. Exposure to Green and Eifert is recommended.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Randall Cobb | 8 | 131 | 8.18 |
| James Jones | 13 | 99 | 6.18 |
| Davante Adams | 6 | 94 | 7.23 |
| Richard Rodgers | 8 | 75 | 4.68 |
| Eddie Lacy | 2 | 28 | 1.86 |
The Green Bay passing game is difficult to predict. Targets and touchdowns are too well-dispersed for a Packer to be used in a cash game. The matchup is favorable, though, with Washington allowing 258 passing yards per game.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| DeAndre Hopkins | 12 | 192 | 12 |
| Nate Washington | 3 | 103 | 7.92 |
| Cecil Shorts III | 0 (INACTIVE) | 75 | 5.35 |
| Ryan Griffin | 3 | 34 | 3.77 |
| Keith Mumphrey | 3 | 32 | 2.28 |
Hopkins will be a popular pick in DFS this week, and rightfully so. His heavy workload provides him with a nice floor and immensely high ceiling. He is a must-start in at least one of your lineups.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jeremy Maclin | 4 | 123 | 8.2 |
| Travis Kelce | 2 | 103 | 6.43 |
| Albert Wilson | 6 | 57 | 4.07 |
| Chris Conley | 3 | 31 | 2.58 |
| De'Anthony Thomas | 0 (INACTIVE) | 22 | 2.2 |
The Kansas City offense is functional but far from explosive. Maclin finished the season with touchdowns in three straight games but failed to top 55 yards in any of those contests.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stefon Diggs | 2 | 84 | 6.46 |
| Kyle Rudolph | 1 | 73 | 4.56 |
| Mike Wallace | 3 | 73 | 4.86 |
| Jarius Wright | 3 | 50 | 3.33 |
| Adrian Peterson | 1 | 36 | 2.25 |
The Minnesota passing game is not too appealing, especially with a matchup against Seattle. DFS players should only employ Vikings receivers in GPP games only - and may even have to think about fading the entire offense.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Antonio Brown | 17 | 193 | 12 |
| Martavis Bryant | 3 | 92 | 8.46 |
| Heath Miller | 4 | 81 | 5.12 |
| Markus Wheaton | 5 | 79 | 4.93 |
| Darrius Heyward-Bey | 5 | 39 | 2.78 |
When they need the victory most, Ben Roethlisberger and Brown showed up big. Expect that combo to be heavily targeted in DFS this weekend.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doug Baldwin | 7 | 103 | 6.43 |
| Tyler Lockett | 4 | 69 | 4.31 |
| Jermaine Kearse | 3 | 68 | 4.25 |
| Luke Willson | 0 (INACTIVE) | 26 | 2 |
| Marshawn Lynch | 0 (INACTIVE) | 21 | 3 |
Baldwin, Lockett, and Kearse all had strong finishes to the season. Baldwin is the top option in the offense but Lockett and Kearse will have lower owership.
| NAME | WEEK 17 | TOTAL | AVG |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pierre Garcon | 4 | 113 | 7.06 |
| Jordan Reed | 4 | 104 | 7.42 |
| Jamison Crowder | 7 | 78 | 4.87 |
| DeSean Jackson | 0 (RESTED) | 59 | 6.55 |
| Ryan Grant | 4 | 42 | 1.82 |
Jackson and Reed will be the top fantasy options with Jackson fit for GPP play and Reed suitable in all formats. Garcon may make for an interesting contrarian but his ceiling is capped as a possession based receiver.
