King of the press conference, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has long been considered one of the most quotable bench bosses in the NBA.

After winning Coach of the Month for December, the 67-year-old was brutally honest about what the award meant to him.

"I think you should at least get a car. If you don't get a car, I don't give a damn," Popovich told Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News.

The coach led the Spurs to a 14-2 record during December, with a perfect 10-0 record at the AT&T Center.

In his 20 seasons with the Spurs, he has been one of the greatest mentors of his era, going 1051-476 (.688 winning percentage) on route to five NBA titles.
