The new year is only three days old, but Ohio State's Thad Matta has already submitted a strong entry for funniest quote of the year.
The Buckeyes coach was clearly watching the Rose Bowl last Friday, which featured a fan yelling "Heisman" during Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey's postgame interview after his record-breaking day.
Ohio State forward Marc Loving had a career-high 27 points in the Buckeyes' 75-73 win over Illinois Sunday, and Matta gave the junior the "Heisman" treatment during his postgame interview.
