Fedor Emelianenko defeats Jaideep Singh in 1st fight of comeback

After a three-year hiatus, Fedor Emelianenko defeated Jaideep Singh via TKO in the first round of Thursday's Rizin FF bout in Saitama, Japan.
Emelianenko connected on a series of right-handed blows, and the fight was stopped at the 3:02 mark. The Russian heavyweight moved to 35-4 with the victory.
The 39-year-old Emelianenko announced his return to mixed martial arts in July.
Emelianenko's last professional fight was in June 2012, when he knocked out Pedro Rizzo in the first round.
