Reynolds' record-setting day helps Navy capture Military Bowl

Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds set a pair of FBS records to finish his college career in style, as the Midshipmen claimed the Military Bowl with a 44-28 victory over Pitt.
Here's what you need to know:
- Reynolds broke the FBS record for total career touchdowns after running for three scores versus the Panthers, passing Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon. He also set the mark for rushing yards by a quarterback. Reynolds passed Pat White and Denard Robinson during the game.
- Chris Swain chipped in with 114 yards on the ground for the Midshipmen.
- Navy won 11 games for the first time and captured its third straight bowl game.
- Pitt's Quadree Henderson returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. The score marked the first time the Panthers ran back the opening kickoff for a touchdown since 2006 and the first time Navy allowed a return on the opening kickoff since 1996.
- Tyler Boyd came up two catches short of Larry Fitzgerald's single-season record for Pitt.
- Navy wideout Tyler Carmona caught his first-career touchdown pass.
- The Panthers lost the time of possession battle in a big way, as Navy held the ball for 42:05. The Midshipmen also forced three turnovers.
