Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett had no interest in complimenting the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, even after they defeated Seattle 23-17 to sweep the season series.

"The Rams, they play good football against us," Bennett said, via ESPN. "They just don't play good football against everybody else."

Bennett wasn't impressed by Rams rookie Todd Gurley, either.

"He's average to me, personally," Bennett told reporters. "I've seen better running backs. He's no Marshawn Lynch."

Gurley, a 2016 Pro Bowl selection and front-runner for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, missed the season's first two weeks (and the first Rams-Seahawks matchup) while recovering from a torn ACL.

In Sunday's game, Gurley rushed for 85 yards on 19 carries and scored the eventual winning touchdown.
